During the procedure, one tube of blood is drawn and then placed into a centrifuge to separate the plasma from the liquid component.

Around 1cc of platelet-rich plasma is then injected directly under the clitoris and a further 4cc in the upper vaginal area – between the top of the vagina and the urethra (the “o-spot”). Injections are quick and little pain, if any, is experienced due to the area being numbed prior to the injections.

The growth factors begin to work immediately after being injected into the genital area – first plumping the area physically with the solution but also on a more long-term basis as the growth factors activate the stem cells located in the vaginal and clitoral tissues.

What is the Orgasmic Shot Treatment?

The Orgasmic Shot, or O-Shot, is a non-surgical procedure that uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) derived from the patient’s own blood. The treatment aims to enhance sexual pleasure, improve orgasmic function, and alleviate issues such as vaginal dryness and urinary incontinence.

How does the O-Shot work?

The treatment involves drawing a small amount of blood from the patient, which is then processed to isolate the PRP. This PRP is injected into specific areas of the vaginal and clitoral tissues, promoting tissue regeneration and increased blood flow, potentially enhancing sexual response.

Is the Orgasmic Shot Treatment safe?

The O-Shot is generally considered safe since it uses the patient's own blood, minimizing the risk of allergic reactions or rejection. However, potential side effects may include mild swelling, bruising, or discomfort at the injection site.

How long does the procedure take?

The entire process typically takes about 30 to 60 minutes, including preparation, blood draw, and injection.

How long do the effects of the O-Shot last?

Many women experience results that can last from several months up to a year. Maintenance treatments may be recommended to prolong the effects.
